The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking an experienced Software Developer with deep expertise in Alfresco and .NET-based integrations. The candidate will lead platform management, architecture, and custom development for Alfresco, including API integrations, user access controls, and system performance enhancements.
This is a part-time, remote contract role with a cap of 350 total hours during the term.
Architect and maintain the Alfresco digital platform
Design and implement .NET (C#, ASP.NET, Web API) custom solutions to extend Alfresco functionality
Administer Alfresco environments: installation, upgrades, user/role management, backup, disaster recovery
Develop extensions using Alfresco SDK, AMP packaging, and REST APIs
Integrate with external systems via CMIS, web services, and custom connectors
Provide mentoring and technical leadership to junior developers
Collaborate across functional teams to define and deliver solutions
6+ years customizing and extending Alfresco Share using AMP packaging
6+ years integrating Alfresco with .NET systems using web services
6+ years working with Alfresco SDK, REST APIs, and custom content models
5+ years .NET Framework/.NET Core experience
5+ years Alfresco server setup, user/group/role management
3+ years with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Octopus, Azure DevOps, etc.)
3+ years of experience working at TEA or other state agency
Experience participating in Agile/Scrum teams
