Role Description

Mercor is seeking experienced wholesale sales managers to support a leading AI lab in advancing research and infrastructure for next-generation machine learning systems. This engagement focuses on diagnosing and solving real issues in wholesale sales management through hands-on scenario creation and validation. It’s an opportunity to contribute your expertise to cutting-edge AI research while working independently and remotely on your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write tasks and scenarios that reflect real-world sales management work in wholesale trade based on your professional experience
  • Create realistic situations involving team leadership, sales strategy development, client relationship management, and territory planning
  • Develop scenarios for setting sales targets, coaching sales representatives, negotiating contracts, and analyzing market trends
  • Review and evaluate AI responses to wholesale sales management queries for accuracy and professional standards
  • Provide detailed feedback on sales leadership scenarios to improve AI training

Qualifications

  • 4+ years professional experience as a sales manager in wholesale trade
  • Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities
  • Proficient with using computers and navigating various software systems
  • Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills
  • Pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz
  • 14 years experience preferred

Requirements

  • Fully remote and asynchronous — complete work on your own schedule
  • Expected workload: 20+ hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours
  • Project start date: immediately, lasting for around 6 weeks

Compensation & Contract Terms

  • Independent contractor engagement through Mercor
  • Hourly compensation, paid weekly via Stripe Connect
  • Payments based on services rendered; contractors maintain full control over their work schedule and methods
