AIS is looking for a Technical Writer/Communications Lead to work in Oak Ridge, TN. The Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Research & Analysis (MEERA) Group in the Manufacturing Science Division (MSD) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), is seeking a Technical Writer and Communications Lead to develop and manage a variety of high-impact communication materials. This position augments ORNL’s industrial energy efficiency team that is operating in support of DOE’s Better Plants and Better Climate Challenge programs. Through these technical assistance programs, the MEERA group develops a diverse portfolio of industrial energy efficiency tools and resources which are delivered to the manufacturing sector through various technical assistance and training events worldwide. This role will contribute to the dissemination of industrial energy efficiency resources by developing fact sheets, guidance documents, case studies, blog posts, and internal reports. The successful candidate will help translate complex technical information into accessible and engaging content for diverse industrial audiences.
