Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team to work on global quality projects using a variety of technologies. In this visible role, you’ll work closely with product leaders, engineering teams, and the business to own the quality assurance deliverables end to end. This role is ideal for someone who loves finding bugs, thinking like an end user, and ensuring smooth product experiences.
What you’ll be doing
Work closely with product managers, designers, and the rest of the engineering team to build elegant and scalable product experience across multiple platforms
Lead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for new and existing features
Provide mentorship and guidance to QA team members, reviewing test cases and sharing knowledge
Review product requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Manually execute test cases, document results, and track defects through the bug lifecycle
Log clear and reproducible bug reports with detailed steps, screenshots, and videos as needed
Re-test resolved defects to verify fixes and prevent regressions
Validate data accuracy and system behavior across different browsers, devices, and environments
Maintain and update existing test cases to reflect product changes
Provide feedback on usability, user experience, and edge cases that may not be covered in requirements
Strategize and develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
We’ll be excited if you have
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or other technical field
5-8+ years working as a QA Analyst/Tester, preferably across Web, Android, iOS and other mobile application development or testing environments
Minimum 3+ years experience with driving quality projects through process, automation, instrumentation, requirements, and test with agile frameworks
Proven knowledge of QA methodologies and with bug tracking tools
Experience with Jira, Charles Proxy, BrowserStack, and TestRail
Great product sense and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and able to explain verbally or via written communication to a variety of audiences
Startup and growth mindset; be able to thrive in a fast-paced global environment focused on learning and knowledge sharing
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and be self-directed
A big plus if you have
Automation experience with Python
Location
This role is remote and we are looking for candidates based in Mexico or Latin America
