Role Description
We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

Handle transactional responsibilities and manage physical damage spend

Provide clients direct line of sight to how and why money is spent

Provide actionable insights on physical damage in real time to client contacts

Attend client meetings and business reviews as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Educate internal stakeholders on best practices regarding the Collision Repair industry
A Day in the Life:

Analyze all incoming estimates and photos to ensure repair plan is safe, cost effective, and consistent with brand image

Make spending decisions and recommendations for clients around repairing and/or replacing vehicles

Analyze repair estimates at line item detail on cars, light, medium, and heavy trucks and specialized equipment

Identify savings opportunities with regard to fleet vehicle selection and use case
-
Provide clarity on differentiating maintenance and collision related costs as well as fleet policy
-
Communicate with clients on the intricacies of each repair
-
Deliver concerns to client contacts based on emerging trends, costs, and nature of damages
-
Determine best practice for handling exceptions such as flood vehicles, contamination, weather/natural disaster

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Repair team for matters related to cost and methodology of repairs
Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred

Minimum 3 years experience in automotive service industry; collision industry experience preferred

Knowledge of vehicle anatomy and repair techniques, including frame straightening, welding, and refinishing

Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding collision repair a plus
-
A Physical Damage Appraiser license or equivalent experience

I-CAR certification preferred; Certifications/Licenses can be substituted for hands-on experience
Requirements
