Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to drive and scale our infrastructure, with a primary focus on Kubernetes orchestration and cloud-native technologies. In this leadership role, you will architect, implement, and manage our containerized environments, ensuring performance, security, and reliability for critical applications and services.

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines that enable automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of microservices.

Define and enforce best practices for containerization, infrastructure as code (IaC), and Kubernetes operations.

Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to build resilient and secure cloud-native solutions.

Drive improvements in observability, including logging, metrics, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Data Dog, or similar.

Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring technical growth and consistent delivery.

Own and maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and automation scripts for multi-environment deployments.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud and containerized environments.

Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and Kubernetes CNCF ecosystem advancements.
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.

4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in a production-grade environment (EKS, GKE, AKS, or self-managed clusters).

Deep knowledge of Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes components (e.g., controllers, CRDs, networking, RBAC).

Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible or similar).

Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Powershell).

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Familiarity with service mesh (e.g., Istio or Linkerd) and Kubernetes security best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).

Certified in Azure, Azure ADO, Azure Architecture, Azure DevOps, Azure security practices.

Experience managing high-availability, multi-region clusters.

Background in monitoring, logging, and incident response processes.

Experience with GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
