The predecessor of CSI Global had a presence in North America in early 2000s but exited for financial reasons. The company determined about a year ago that beyond the UK and the Gulf, the North American market is critical for scaling up the company. A sales and marketing campaign was therefore launched and executed from offshore focused around social media, especially, LinkedIn. Based on the level of interest as demonstrated by connection acceptance rates above industry standards, the company has decided to supplement its campaign with an Inside Sales presence on the ground in North America.
The role involves the following:
Here’s how we are envisioning the process:
1. The offshore team will create the database of companies and contacts and send out connection requests
2. Based on our focus and the potential of the prospects, the offshore team will periodically provide a list of contacts to Internal Sales.
3. Internal sales will fulfil the responsibilities outlined above through social media, telephone calls or e-mail as appropriate.
